Chauncey Hines & Mystique

Chauncey Hines grew up in South Carolina in  a musical family . His father sang Gospel and  performed in Vaudeville singing and tap dancing, while his mother was playing and teaching  the Piano. She was also an accomplished Singer . Freddie Hines his father, worked with James Brown , Otis Redding, Duke Ellington  and Dizzy Gillespie. From the age of 4,  Chauncey started playing Drums and at age 7 took up the Saxophone . Chauncey loved to sing as well and started to perform early on .His first performance was at age 5 at his Kindergarten graduation .  He  was  inspired  by the Songs of  Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder,George Benson, Frankie Beverly , James Brown,  Kool and the Gang and the Dobbie Brothers.His love of Music streams though his Life and shows in his Life performances with his Band Mystique. His musical range spans from Motown, R&B, Smooth Jazz, Hip Hop,  Reggae, Pop to Gospel .
