Burton Zimmer is a true slide guitar player from the Californian blues scene.
Born in Buffalo, New York in 1955 and moved to Los Angeles in 1963. Started playing guitar at the age of 15 – all self taught. At the age of 19 I played in various bands and jammed with Grover Washington Junior. While travelling to Israel he broke his first bottle neck and learned to play slide guitar.
